Mouse Button Functionality
- Click mouse on map without moving to advance through times for a day
- Roll mouse wheel on the Image to Zoom; Reset by pressing wheel, or by zooming out
- Click & Drag when Zoomed to move Image
- Control-Click gives Parameter Value at that point in ToolTip
- Shift-Click provides a Popup with Parameter Values for all
forecast hours (you may need to allow Pop Ups)
- If selected, Shift-Click gives SkewT Pop Up for that Location, Day and Time
- Control-Shift-Click to go backwards through times
- There is now a link bottom right. If you Right-Click on this, you can copy it and:
- Mail it to a friend. If they open it in a browser they will get the same forecast.
- Use it as a bookmark. You can also edit it, for example to remove the date.
You can then use this to open your favourite parameter at your preferred time.
- To Grab the Forecast Image by itself: Right-Click and then
- For FF
- Copy Image
- Copy Image Location
- Save Image As
- For IE
Mouse button functionality is thought to work on all platforms
and for Internet Explorer & Firefox. Basic functionality on Konqueror; not yet fully tested on Safari and Opera.
However, on Opera, Ctrl-Click puts up the "File-Save-As" dialogue.
If "Cancel" is selected, functionality is as described.
As far as I can see, this behaviour cannot be changed.
